How to clean your shower doors
Keeping shower doors clean is essential for longevity
Step 1: The Squeegee
A squeegee (or a microfiber cloth) is your new best friend. After every shower, make sure you squeegee the water off the doors and sidelites. The water contains
soap and minerals which can make it nearly impossible to clean the longer the water is left on the glass. The minerals can also etch the glass which is permanent and cannot
be fixed without replacing the glass.
Step 2: Choosing a Cleaner
You can either use glass cleaner or you can use a homemade formula out of baking soda, white vinegar, and water. Mix the baking soda with water until a paste-like
material is made. Use this and the non-abrasive sponge to scrub away the soap scum. Rinse the baking soda solution off with a vinegar solution which will help keep your
shower smelling fresh. Finally rinse off with water and use the squeegee to remove excess water.
Step 3: Dry & Protect
Make sure you dry off your freshly cleaned shower doors to keep them prestine. Removing the water by squeegee or by microfiber cloth will prolong the life
of the glass and help protect your investment. We recommend spraying and coating the glass with Rain-x or similar product.
